She's a Keeper

This is a fake before pic. Haha!! So no this is not the exact same old entertainment center (as you can tell by the doors instead of the drawers), but it's close and I forgot yet again to take a before pic.     I wanted to find something like it so all could see how my wonderful hubby revamped this piece. This was a cheap thrift store find.  He pulled out the shelf thingy where the VCR could have gone, and took out the sliding doors and the hardware that went with them.  Then then put the nice sturdy shelves, and painted (my pick) it this beautiful buttery yellow.

We  call this color Glorious Morning.  It is one my favorites of our colors (even more so after this project) . It reminds me of that wonderful glow of a beautiful morning.

 Think I might just keep this one.  <hopeful smile> We'll see what

 Mr. Painter has to say about that. lol

Truely Enjoying the Fall Colors!!!!

 I've been wanting pretty-up the porch.

  Since we moved to the Treasure Valley in the begin of April I've been waiting for this. 

 The changing of the leaves...

 I wasn't a very big fan of autumn, until the last few years.  I don't know why, but it seems like every year I am more in awe than the year before.

Market Madness

That's what it's been around here.  A good kind of madness. :)  This post is a thrown together, but I just wanted to share somethings we been getting ready for tomorrow.  We'd love to see ya down at the Village in Meridian, if you can make it. No need to double check what blog you just got onto.  Lol!! Yes, we have changed our name and our look.  Isn't our logo fun?!?! We are thrilled with it.  We feel this new name really suits us, so the blog, website and paint that was previously known as Shabby Chic Farm is now Vintage Chic Farm.

Lulled Seaside Galore

  Isn't it beautiful!?!?!  So calming.

 It's amazing what a couple of colors can do to transform a tired piece of furniture.

It's Going To Be A Crate Day!

 

Mr. Painter has been working away again.

  He has also been making these awesome crates!  I love crates!!

 We've got a bunch of them ready for our Meridian Market, this Saturday.  So glad the forecast says it's supposes to a little cooler than it was last time we went.  Whew!!! Was that a hot one!!!!
