Pink Vintage Pfaff Sewing Machine

Picked up this vintage PFAFF from Craigslist.  My husband, Mr. Painter, thought is would be cute pink, so he taped it up SUPER carefully, and let 'er rip with the pink gloss!  I think it's adorable.

Mr. Painter, when he got done with the machine went to town on the desk.  After a day or 2, when it was all dry he thought he see if it would sew.
So he messed around with it for an hour or so, got kinda fluster with it, gave up.

About 10 minutes later came and tried again for an hour so, gave up.
Can you see it? You can still see Pfaff 230 on it.

This went on 2 more times until late that night. And then a little in the morning.  He finally decided to call a professional. :)

The sewing machine service man didn't think very much of it being pink. :/  Something about it being a collector's machine.

We found out it had extra parts on it.  ??? There was an extra disk in the tension dial, knob...? Can't think of what to call that.

Anyway, Mr. Painter was quite impressed by the repair guy.  He got it running, and now it sews!  Boy does it.  We are so excited about having such a heavy duty machine.

A Chair Makeover

Well I've been gone for a while, but we're doing a ton of catch up in a short amount of time.  :)  Love to be gettin' things done.  This is one of the things that got done yesterday.

Ahhhh... that's about all I can say.  (dreamy smile)

Linking up at Mrs. Olson's

Ok. So a couple of weeks ago I promised to post the finished pic of the table Hubs built.  Well here it is.  No, it didn't take him that long to get it painted, it's just taking me this long to post it.  Lol.

A reminder (in case you don't remember it from almost 3 weeks ago)  :)
He ended up adding a little shelf-ish thing.  Haha Don't know what to call it, but I love it. Perfect for a basket, a little extra storage.  Painted in our Lulled Seaside and the then Vintage White on the top.

Handy Husband

My Hubby likes to build things!!  Here is something he whipped up tonight.

He saw some scrap wood for cheap at Home Depot, and was inspired.

"What color should we paint it?"  he asks.  I smile.  "You pick this one."

We'll see what it color it ends up to be.  ;)

 Finished pictures to come soon.

Anyone else startin' any projects?
